My Tracking Sheet
My Friday tracking sheet in diary form. 2 minutes a night, 10 minutes on Friday.
The columns I use
Date, Morning hay, Greens offered, Water refill, Weight, Play notes, Rest notes, Cleaning done. I fill it every evening. Here is what each means: hay = handfuls topped up, greens = what I offered and what vanished first, water = refilled yes/no, weight = grams on Friday only, play/rest = one line each, cleaning = scoop / full change / vinegar rinse.
Example week
| Date | Hay | Greens | Water | Weight | Play / Rest | Clean |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mon | 2x | romaine, mint – mint first | yes | – | zoomies 19h / flop couch | scoop |
| Tue | 2x | cilantro, dill – ignored dill | yes | – | tunnel guard / loaf | scoop |
| Wed | 3x | romaine only | yes | – | binky / litter-box nap | full + vinegar corner |
| Thu | 2x | parsley small | yes | – | calm / flop | scoop |
| Fri | 2x | mixed | yes | 2140g | photo paws / night-cam | scoop |
How to read it
I compare Friday weights week to week, not day to day. A 30-50g wobble is normal; a steady drop over 2 weeks or any appetite change means vet, not spreadsheet. Greens notes tell me what to buy less of. Cleaning notes tell me if the vinegar rinse schedule works.
Copy my sheet
Make the same 8 columns in any notebook or spreadsheet. Same order every night. One photo from the same angle. After a month you will see your own patterns. This is a personal log, not veterinary guidance, see Disclaimer.
