Lazy Afternoon With The Trio Of Troublemakers
same angle, same light my log photo
Azmi's note My personal log from Meknes, not vet advice. Just what I did and saw tonight.

Lazy afternoon for the trio: joined at the hip, napping in shifts. Sometimes they spread out solo, but most hours end in one shared loaf. This post runs the afternoon shift schedule: who naps when, solo versus group patterns, and the loaf awards. Personal trio log, not multi-rabbit advice. One sweet cow and two puffy clouds. Afternoons do not get better than this.

Shift schedule: 13:00 to 17:00

13:00 all three up (post-lunch patrol, brief). 13:30 first shift: the cow claims the rug center, clouds take the flanks. 14:30 rotation: one cloud goes solo to the tile (independence hour), other two hold the loaf. 15:30 full pile re-forms, deepest nap of the day. 16:30 staggered waking: cow first (dinner anticipation), clouds second. Napping in shifts, the trio staggers sleep so someone is always semi-alert; sentinel behavior, adorable. Most hours end in one shared loaf: 4 of 5 afternoons this week. Solo hours logged without worry (independence is healthy, the pile re-forms by evening).

Afternoon notes and awards

  • Quick licks exchanged, then back to napping, grooming toll paid at shift changes
  • One perfected loaf among them, award pending, this week’s nominee: the cow’s symmetrical Tuesday loaf (judges: me, unanimous)
  • Photo quietly, no waking the pile, doorway shots only; flash never; burst mode silent

Trio houses report the same rhythm: together most hours, solo sometimes, cute always. Nap o’clock is sacred, 15:30 observed in silence across all reporting houses. The pile parallels my evening flop records (same trio, dimmer light) and the night-sound piles (same trio, audible). Afternoon shift complete; evening shift loading. One cow, two clouds, infinite naps.

Loaf awards: the judging criteria

Award categories, judged weekly: Tightest Loaf (paws fully tucked, zero limbs visible, this week’s winner: the cow, Tuesday), Fluffiest Sprawl (maximum surface area, minimum dignity, cloud two, Thursday), Most Synchronized (all three same position, achieved twice this month, photographed both times), Best Solo (independence hour excellence, cloud one’s tile stretch, Wednesday). Judging panel: me, unanimous. Prizes: extra parsley for winners (all winners, participation philosophy). The awards exist because ranking naps delights the household and fills the diary honestly. Previous winners’ gallery: six weeks of loaf champions, each framed in the notebook margin. Award pending this week: the cow’s Tuesday symmetrical loaf versus cloud two’s Thursday sprawl, deliberation ongoing, parsley budget approved for both.

Solo hours and trio science

Solo sometimes: tracked across a month, solo naps run 1 in 5 afternoons per bunny, rotating (never the same soloist twice running, fairness instinct or coincidence, logged without theory). Post-solo behavior: rejoining lick exchanged, pile re-formed within the hour, no grudges. Trio science, household edition: piles deepen sleep (solo naps average 40 minutes, pile naps 90, timed across 20 sessions), sentinel rotation real (one ear up at all times in 8 of 10 pile photos, counted), afternoon piles predict evening calm (stormy evenings follow pile-less afternoons 3 of 4 times, logged, unexplained, respected). Nap o’clock sacred, data-backed, adorable. One cow, two clouds, infinite shifts.

Afternoon audit, monthly: pile afternoons 21 of 30 (peak season), solo hours 6, mixed 3. Longest pile: 3 hours unbroken (rainy Sunday, legendary). Shortest: 20 minutes (interrupted by doorbell, resumed after). Sentinel duty confirmed so often it’s now assumed: the pile sleeps, one ear watches. Nap o’clock 15:30 holds across seasons (winter shifts 30 minutes earlier, light rules naps). The trio’s afternoon institution enters its second year with full attendance. Joined at the hip, napping in shifts, cute always, the title, the method, the truth. Afternoon adjourned; evening pile loading.

Trio roll call, tonight: cow center (present), cloud one flank (present), cloud two tile (independent, noted). Pile formation expected by 15:30 per sacred o’clock. Loaf awards pending deliberation; parsley budget approved for all nominees. Joined at the hip most hours; spread solo some hours; shared loaf every evening without fail. The afternoon institution stands: shifts observed, sentinel posted, naps deep. One sweet cow, two puffy clouds, roll complete, cute confirmed.

Shift change observed live: cloud two rises from tile, crosses to rug, inserts into pile with minimal disturbance (veteran move), pile reshuffles without waking. Sentinel ear transfers duty mid-shift (logistics impeccable). Afternoon science complete for the season; winter will shift o’clock earlier and the diary will follow. Napping in shifts, waking in rotation, adorable throughout. Trio houses worldwide (reporting): same rhythm confirmed. Sacred o’clock universal.

Afternoon institution status: thriving, staffed, beloved. Shifts observed without fail; sentinel posted without orders; naps deepened without permission. One cow, two clouds, zero missed afternoons. Sacred o’clock keeps perfect time; the diary keeps perfect records. Joined, napping, always.

Trio roll complete: cow, cloud, cloud, present, napping, perfect. Afternoon sacred; evening loading; diary full.

Napping in shifts, waking in rotation. Sacred o’clock observed daily.

Joined at the hip; shifts observed; naps deep.

Sacred o’clock keeps time; the diary keeps records.

Naps.

Tomorrow the sacred o’clock returns with the cow on rug center and the clouds riding shotgun as usual. I will bring the camera, the tea, and absolutely no plans to disturb the greatest show in this house.
