WFH Friday: Best Shots of the Day

Friday is my work-from-home day and I made the most of it. Or rather, they did: five naps, three poses, one absolute unit of a bunny working harder than me. This post is the work log: hourly entries 9 to 5 with coworker interruptions, wellness checks, and the bear-sweater loaf. Personal comedy log, not productivity advice. Too cute to bear, too sleepy to move. My most productive workday yet.
Friday log: 9 to 5 with colleagues
- 9:00 standup: colleagues asleep, no blockers (first pose: the heart-attack special nap, motionless, verified breathing, logged)
- 11:00 wellness check one: all passed, Tile Nap in progress
- 13:00 lunch: shared (my sandwich, their hay, separate plates, professional boundaries)
- 15:00 wellness check two: bear-sweater loaf photographed for the record (fluff at maximum loft)
- 17:00 shutdown: Friday shift complete, precious bun on duty (night shift takes over, day shift flops)

Wellness checks and findings
Wellness checks performed hourly, all passed, the protocol: visual breathing check (no touching sleeping colleagues), waterline glance, hay-level note. Findings: nap quality excellent across all five naps, pose variety satisfactory (3 poses documented), one absolute unit working harder than me (supervising my typing from the desk-adjacent rug, productivity by proximity). WFH houses know: the nap so good it needs a wellness check. Compare with the evening flop records (same naps, dimmer light) and the bed-takeover afternoons (weekend edition of this log). Friday shift complete; weekend cuddle shift loading.

Meeting notes and productivity review
Meetings attended (background, muted): 4. Meetings improved by bunny presence: 4 of 4 (camera-on moments: zero, colleagues professional). Tasks completed: moderate (typing slowed 20% by supervision-related smiling). Wellness checks: hourly, all passed, documented with photos (this post). Nap poses catalogued: heart-attack special (morning), tile sprawl (midday), bear-sweater loaf (afternoon peak), desk-adjacent supervision flop (closing shift). The absolute unit worked harder than me, supervisory laps completed: 6 (desk to window and back, documented). Performance review, self: presence excellent, output adequate, morale maximum. Manager review (them): napping through all meetings, present for lunch, promoted to Chief Comfort Officers effective immediately. My most productive workday yet, measured in flops per hour, record high.
WFH policy proposal
Policy drafted for permanent adoption: Fridays home, colleagues present, wellness checks hourly, lunch shared (separate plates), bear-sweater season observed October-March. Cost-benefit: zero commuting, infinite naps witnessed, typing slightly slower, happiness measurably higher. Proposal status: self-approved (authority: me, homeowner, outranked by rabbits). Implementation: immediate and ongoing. Precious bun on duty, Friday shift complete, weekend shift loading with extra parsley. Too cute to bear, the policy’s founding principle and its daily proof. Work from home, nap from couch, log everything.
Overtime report: Friday extended to 18:00 once (deadline), colleagues napped through it in solidarity (unpaid overtime, compensated in parsley). Weekend handover: Saturday shift (cuddle duty, all hands), Sunday shift (photo series, golden hour). Monday dread cured preventatively by Friday’s flop surplus. Timesheet summary: 8 hours worked (moderately), 5 naps witnessed (fully), 3 poses catalogued (excellently), 1 unit supervised (heavily). Productivity redefined: output adequate, morale historic. Next Friday: same colleagues, same rug, same wellness checks. The most productive workdays are the floppiest, data across 12 Fridays confirms. Bear-sweater season forever.
Annual review of remote work: 48 Fridays logged, 200+ naps witnessed, 40+ poses catalogued, 0 meetings unimproved. Colleagues promoted (Chief Comfort Officers, all). Wellness protocol adopted company-wide (household of three, compliance perfect). Morale all-time high; output sufficient; flops record-breaking. Recommendation: continue indefinitely. Signed: management (me, outranked). Approved: the unit (napping, unanimous). Friday forever.
Colleague profiles, updated: Senior Napper (tile specialist, 5 naps Fridays), Bear-Sweater Loaf (afternoon peak performer), Night-Shift Supervisor (evening takeover, flawless record), The Unit (productivity by proximity, heaviest presence). Reviews: all exceed expectations; raises issued in parsley; promotions effective immediately. Team-building: shared hay Fridays (morale). Turnover: zero (loyalty absolute). Best team assembled; best Fridays logged. Work works when naps work. Shift complete, forever.
Friday postscript: colleagues asleep as I type (overtime napping, unpaid, perfect). Wellness final: all passed, week complete. The bear-sweater hangs in the closet of memory till October. Unit supervised till shutdown. Productive? Moderately. Happy? Historically. Friday: complete, precious, logged.
WFH doctrine, final: home Fridays, colleagues furry, wellness hourly, morale maximum. Output adequate; naps historic; Friday eternal. The unit supervises; I type; everybody wins. Most productive days wear bear-sweaters. Logged, always.
Colleague of the month: the bear-sweater loaf, unanimous. Nap of the quarter: heart-attack special, legendary. Team outing planned: hallway zoomies Friday. Morale: maximum. Output: sufficient. Friday: forever home-office with furry staff.
