By using SoilTune you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this service is

SoilTune provides free, browser-based calculators that perform agronomic and soil-science arithmetic from values you supply. The service is offered as-is, for informational and educational purposes.

2. Not professional or regulatory advice

Results are planning estimates, not recommendations. They are not a substitute for a soil test, a plant tissue analysis, a certified crop adviser, or the agronomic judgement of someone who has seen your field. Nothing on this site constitutes agronomic, engineering, environmental or regulatory advice, and no adviser–client relationship is created by your use of it.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• supplying accurate inputs: a calculator can only be as reliable as the lab data, product analysis and field measurements behind it;
• verifying any figure before acting on it, including against your own calculations or your consultant's;
• following product labels and local law. Label rates and legal limits always take precedence over an estimate produced here;
• obtaining any permits or approvals your jurisdiction requires before applying amendments.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoilTune and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage, including crop loss, yield loss, equipment damage, wasted product, or indirect and consequential loss, arising from use of, or inability to use, the calculators or the results they produce. You use the results at your own risk.

5. Accuracy of content

We make reasonable efforts to keep formulas, constants and references correct, but do not warrant that any output is complete, current or error-free. Agronomic methods vary between sources, product analyses vary between manufacturers, and standards change over time. Where you believe an output is wrong, please report it through the contact page.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with or disrupt the site or its infrastructure;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data;
• scrape, mirror or republish the site at scale without written permission; or
• use the site for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

Site design, original text and branding belong to SoilTune. The underlying agronomic formulas, constants and methods are drawn from published scientific and regulatory sources and are not claimed as proprietary. You may link to our pages freely; please credit the source when quoting figures or explanations.

8. Third-party links

Pages may link to external publications, extension services or standards bodies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

9. Advertising

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) and similar technologies to select, personalise and measure the ads you see, including on this and other sites. You can control interest-based advertising through Google Ads Settings or the industry opt-out at www.aboutads.info. Our privacy policy sets out the full disclosure, and the cookie policy explains when those scripts are allowed to run.

Google does not create, review or edit any part of this site. The placement of an ad does not imply an endorsement of the advertiser, the product or the claim, and advertisers have no influence over the calculators, their formulas or their results.

We may modify these terms at any time. The revision date above will be updated when we do. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
